First we ate downstairs which my fiance and i found incredibly disappointing. The lady who served us was quite nice but the menu had no information on what was in what meal. This is a problem if you have allergies or are vegetarian or vegan. I am pretty sure they have no vegetarian food. My fiance ordered shrimp fried rice because he does not like soft tofu, which he thought was mediocre and way overpriced. I was incredibly disappointed because I ordered tofu stew and received tofu-seafood-chicken stew. Large chunks of chicken, and I have no idea what kind of seafood, maybe squid? Something we have never eaten anyway. And it looked like (could be wrong here) but it looked like blood, and i looked it up and spicy blood tofu is apparently a thing in Korea/China. As a vegetarian I was incredibly disappointed but maybe I should not have assumed that tofu stew was vegetarian just because tofu meals have been vegetarian everywhere else in my experience.
Would not eat there again unless they got a truly vegetarian / vegan meal, but the games were fun and we would definitely want to go back to the upstairs gaming portion.
The restaurant itself I would rate 1 star for lack of transparency in the menu. Without transparency in the menu, people with allergies and vegetarians/vegans are forced to either bother servers / managers about food ingredients, which servers may or may not know if it is vegetarian/vegan/containing allergens or what "celiac", "vegan" etc. means. Then that person has to explain it, keeping servers etc. from serving other people.
After that we went upstairs, and the gaming cafe was really nice, the staff was nice and helpful but also not overbearing. Ignoring the food we had downstairs, we had a really great time, it was a nice date :D
Gaming cafe is great but everyone should try Java restaurant that is located right underneath Java cafe. I tried almost every Korean restaurant in DFW area and this restaurant is far the best place I have ever been to. I literally want to come and eat here everyday.
Great place to get out of the house and just hangout. Reasonable pricing for game time. Nice selection, but not large. Recommend bringing the game you want to play it calling ahead to see if they have it in their pool. Will definitely go back.
Awesome computers and equipment. The FPS on the monitors was perfect for any game including Overwatch. This place is so fun and not even expensive. With a membership its only 3 dollars an hour. It was a really great time there and the staff was so friendly.
They have a membership for (20 dollars?) a year that gives you hours ever so often. Its a nice place to chill with friends and get together to play overwatch etc... The food here is pretty cheap too.
